Itinerary

Day 1: Cochin – Munnar
Arrive Cochin Airport and our representative will assist you andwill take you for a journey to Munnar (140 km/4 hrs). Enjoy lovelyview of waterfalls, exotic streams, rubber trees, pepper, cardamom and tea plantations and thick forests throughout thejourney. God has blessed his own country with incomparable beauty that never fails to impress the visitors coming to see the FLORA n’ FAUNA of Kerala. On arrival of Munnar check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast enjoy the full day sightseeing of Munnar, which is paradise for nature lovers with sprawling tea gardens, lakes, waterfalls, spice plantations and many other exciting natural attractions. You can visit Mattupetty lake and dam, Echo point, Kundale lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam wild life sanctuary – home of Nilgiri Thar (rare mountain goat), considering the ecological Flora’n Fauna, geo-morphological and zoological significant and tea gardens. Return back on time to the hotel for a dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

 Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady
Have breakfast in the hotel and check out at 0900 hrs and be ready to visit Thekkady (120kms/4hrs). Drive through dazzling Western Ghat hills covered with exotic beauty of nature and sporadic view of waterfalls and streams. Throughout the journey you can enjoy the lively images of lush green surrounding with spice plantation filling the air with aroma. On arrival at Thekkady, check in at hotel afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Thekkady.

Day 4: Thekkady - Kumarakom
After healthy breakfast go on for a boating in Periyar Lake and visit to Periyar Sanctuary. Here you can see the exciting parts of the Sanctuary with various species of birds and animals in their natural home. After having lunch, checkout at 1500 hrs and be ready to visit Kumarakom. Throughout the journey, you can enjoy the cool air with the aroma of tea plants in Kuttikaanam and Vagamon. Vagamon is a tiny plantation township having an overtone of green. Sightseeing includes attractive meadows, echo point, suicide point, tea plantation, pilgrim hills etc. On the way to Kumarakom, you will be passing through beautiful rubber and tea plantation, scenic vistas with magnetizing Flora’n Fauna. On arrival at Kumarakom, check in to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Kumarakom House Boat
After breakfast, checkout from resort at 0900 and be ready to feel the fresh air and murmuring of birds in Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. There you can see various migratory and local birds. After lunch, we move to our house boat at 1400hrs checks in. House boat is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters. Rest of the day at leisure on the house boat and enjoy the panoramic view of the sun rising at setting with refreshing beauty adding magical charm. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals. Welcome drink of tender Coconut, Kerala Style delicious Lunch, Tea/Coffee & Snacks in the evening, dinner and enjoy your evening on the sundeck away from hustle and the bustle city life and maddening crowd. Only disturbance will be twinkle of a shining star or diving of a fish around you to say hello by waving its tail from the lake. Dinner and overnight stay will be on the houseboat.

Day 6: Kumarakom  – Cherai Beach Resort
Morning at leisure on House Boat experience the scenic vistas and the virgin beauty of the nature at its best. After a good breakfast at 0930 hrs check out from houseboat and we transfer you to Cochin (80 km/2 hrs). On arrival check in at beach resort and relax up to evening. Cherai Beach is the best golden beach of Kerala and is rightly called “The Princess of the Arabian sea”. One should really feel the warmth of the golden rays of sunset in front of the resort. Dolphins are occasionally seen here. The beach is shallow, calm and is ideal for swimming & sunbathing. Enjoy a game of beach volley ball & take a dip in the sea. We are providing all beach amenities like beach benches, towels, umbrellas etc. The newly beautified main beach with the walkway adds to the charm and the high mast lamp makes the beach enjoyable even at night. Dinner and overnight stay at beach resort.

Day 7: Cherai Beach Resort  - Wayanad
Check out from the resort at 0900 A.M and we will transfer you to Wayanad through flight from Cochin International Airport. On arrival at Calicut International airport, you will be assisted by our new representative. He will take you to Wayanad, the place where you can experience a temperature below ten degree (120kms/4hrs). You will be delighted with the mesmerizing sight of hills, caves hiding some secrets of the past, lakes reflecting the surrounding lustrous forests, small streams and miniature waterfalls caressing the hills and dales. So much beauty, so much charm all around; you feel a thunderbolt within. Leisure and ecstasy will wipe the weariness of long drawn journey off your brow. On your arrival at resort, you are cordially led into the leisure of the hotel room. You have an overnight stay at the cosiness of the hotel room with much anticipated sweet expectations of the beautiful landscape waiting in store for you.

Day 8: Wayanad Sightseeing
Have breakfast in the resort and proceed to a full day local sightseeing. You will be delighted to visit the
Chembra peak at about 2100 mts above mean sea level. It is a ‘Trekker’s Paradise’, of incredible scenic beauty. From Chembra hill you get a view of Neelimala view point and Vaduvanchal which is an excellent venue for trekking with lots of inspiring trails. Meenmutty falls is yet another remarkable two km jungle trek off the main Ooty road. Meenmutty has also the largest and one of the most amazing waterfalls in Wayanad. Lakkidi, the gateway to Wayanad, is situated 700 mts above mean sea level, at the shell of Thamarassery Ghat (pass). At evening, we will arrange you a bonfire in the resort (subject to climatic conditions). Overnight will be stay in the room with exclusive balconies that face the rushing stream, with the ever green memory and twinkling thoughts.
 
Day 9: Wayanad Sightseeing
After breakfast you are off for a half day local sightseeing during which you will be led to the famous Edakkal caves where three caves are located at a height of thousand meters. Chethalayam is the one of the best waterfalls in Wayanad. Its surroundings offer a number of vantage points for bird-watching. After lunch you can experience a guided trucking inside the resort to the natural water falls, streams, natural pools etc. You can explore the facilities of massaging, steam room and plunge pool at the Spa in resort. Today’s dinner is under the candle light with chef’s special dish. Overnight stay at resort in tree houses sets above the lush canopy of the rainforest. It is one of the ideal jungle retreats.

Day 10: Good Bye Day
After healthy breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Calicut; en route visit Pazhassiraja Museum & Art Gallery that displays historic bronzes, coins, megalithic relics, murals and paintings by artists of Kerala. Mananchira Square is at the heart of Kozhikode and Mananchira tank which used to be the private bath of the Samuthiris (King). Move on to the beach at Calicut, where Vasco da Gama arrives. On the Kappad Beach there is a small stone monument to commemorate Vasco da Gama's arrival to India. In the evening proceed to the airport to board your flight.
